Information we collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, organization membership, authentication records, billing references, and support communications. Hosted platform features may store models, material packages, licence activity, and related project data that you choose to save.
Local application data
Signing in or opening a local file alone does not upload that file. When Cloud execution is selected, solves and associated numerical previews and post-processing send the relevant model data to hosted services; after you start a Cloud solve, previews may run automatically as you edit that project. Opening or replacing a project, or changing account, turns automatic Cloud previews off. Licensed Browser and Native calculation runs locally, while account, licensing, Cloud Materials, surfaces and other hosted features still communicate with our services.
How we use information
We use information to provide the services, authenticate users, manage organizations and licences, process billing, send operational messages, respond to support requests, protect against abuse, and improve reliability and product quality.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics, error reporting, and security operations. They may process information only as needed to provide those services to JWGeotech.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including access controls, encrypted transport, least-privilege operational access, and separation of production secrets from source control.
Retention
Cloud recovery retains the latest successful result per analysis type for up to seven days. A newer successful result can replace an earlier result sooner; download results you need to keep. Operational usage metadata (account and organisation identifiers, solver, timing, outcome and artifact sizes, without model contents) is retained for 90 days by default to manage capacity, reliability and cost. Terms acceptance records retain the accepted version, document hash and acceptance time. Other account records are retained as needed to operate accounts, meet legal or accounting obligations and resolve disputes.
Your choices
You can update account information, remove users from organizations, delete project data you control, or contact us about access, correction, export, or deletion requests.
