Save and recover studies
Save portable JRadar files and distinguish them from browser recovery.
File → Save or Ctrl+S downloads a .jradar study containing terrain, placements, radar specifications and monitoring settings. File → Open... (Ctrl+Shift+O) reopens it. Use File → Export Viewport Image to export a PNG of the 3D view; HTML legends and labels are outside that image.
Browser working storage saves recovery data in IndexedDB. A downloaded project is your portable copy: keep it when changing computer, browser or hostname. The deployed app at radar.jwgeo.tech has separate storage from localhost or the standalone app's former hostname.
Use Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y to redo. Loading the demonstration pit is undoable. Appearance and temporary camera settings are not study data.
Recovery errors
If stored data cannot be read, the app protects it and pauses local saving. Download the stored data for safekeeping, open a supported project, or explicitly choose Start fresh and replace local study. Unsupported project versions fail with a clear message; there is no automatic conversion of older formats.
Project files are limited to 1 GB. A failed export or import reports an error. Account sign-in does not upload a study or provide cloud backup.
