JVoxel
Map potential failure masses and inspect simulated deposition.
Open JVoxel. A verified free JWG account is required; no paid licence is needed. Calculations and projects stay on your computer.
JVoxel works in right-handed East/North/Up coordinates: X east, Y north and Z up, measured in metres. Directions are clockwise from north.
The Map release surfaces workflow takes original terrain through conversion, finite release surfaces, enclosed-mass identification and voxel deposition. Configure → Import blocks instead accepts an already excavated remaining slope and closed source meshes. Switching workflows retains both drafts.
Start with terrain preparation, then release surfaces, runout settings and results. Read the limitations before interpreting a study.
