Native projects and account access
Save, reopen and protect a self-contained JVoxel study.
File → Save project and Save project as… write native SQLite .jvoxel files. They include both workflow definitions, source meshes, observations, overrides, mass-selection and colour anchors, runout settings and the reference line. Mesh coordinates retain double precision.
Derived conversion geometry, identified masses, simulation results and temporary edits are not saved. Applied terrain conversion rebuilds on reopen; press Identify enclosed masses explicitly to rebuild masses. Theme and display preferences remain local to the browser.
New and Open offer Save, Don't Save and Cancel when work is unsaved. Only a completed file write updates the saved baseline. Cancelled or failed writes keep the project open; edits made while saving remain unsaved. Browsers without native file pickers download the same .jvoxel format. The file limit is 512 MiB; browser memory may impose a lower practical limit.
Only native schema/payload version 1 is accepted. Earlier standalone JSON files are unsupported and are not converted. Create a new study from your source meshes.
Opening the workspace requires online verified sign-in. An admitted tab can continue during temporary account-service outages until session expiry. Sign-out or expiry locks the retained workspace. Signing in does not upload the study, and no paid licence or seat is required.
