Runout settings
Choose the deposition resolution, repose angle and swell factor.
Review Angle of repose (°), Swell factor and Voxel size (m). Advanced settings include voxel release mode. Smaller voxels increase resolution and resource demand; their discrete sampled volume can differ from exact mesh volume.
Scientific fields commit on Enter or leaving the field. Escape restores the field value. Invalid entries remain visible across workflow navigation; correct them before calculating or saving. Surface edits must be applied or cancelled first.
Mapped runout requires applied calculation terrain, current identified geometry and selected masses. Run runout never identifies masses automatically. Inspect the readiness status when the command is unavailable. Cancel computation stops work cooperatively and prevents obsolete results from replacing current inputs.
An optional relaxation pass redistributes the completed deposit. Play animation reveals the simulated deposition; animation speed is a display preference, not a physical travel-time result.
