Results, sections and exports
Interpret deposition quantities and export the calculated geometry.
Results report runout distance, maximum thickness, in-situ volume, sampled source volume, swelled volume, quantized target volume, deposited volume, footprint area, and deposited/target voxel counts. These quantities describe different stages of the calculation and need not all coincide.
Colour the deposit by source block, runout distance, deposit height or local deposit slope. Auto ranges follow the output; custom display limits clamp colours without changing metrics. Visibility controls, colours and navigation never change the engineering result.
With a usable reference polyline, positive runout distance requires the final voxel centre to lie on the opposite side of its nearest segment from the source centre. Same-side and on-line voxels read zero. Distance is horizontal to the finite polyline; equally near segments must agree on the side. Without a usable reference, review the distance basis shown with the result.
Use Two-point vertical section to inspect equal-scale sections. Closing preserves the section; Redraw starts a replacement, and Escape cancels that replacement. Right drag rotates, middle drag pans, and the wheel zooms. Set centre of rotation picks a terrain pivot; Zoom to extents resets it.
File → Export provides converted terrain, excavated runout surface and source masses as OBJ, plus results and voxel centroids as CSV.
