Charts and engineering reports

Export data, images, and reports without changing the project.

File → Export… and each chart’s export control provide CSV, SVG, and PNG outputs. Chart images use a light engineering palette independently of the live theme.

Print → Current Charts opens the shared preview. Select paper, orientation, margins, and resolution, then Print or Export PDF. Preview captures the charts and preserves the project and view.

Print → Engineering Report prepares an A4 report for the active material or entire project. Reports include assumptions, inputs, charts, derived results, calibration diagnostics, and warnings. Reports use a captured document and retain selectable text.

Active-material reports include that material even if hidden from comparison. Whole-project reports list all materials while comparison charts reflect visible materials.

Engineering PDF Reports

The Report dialog generates an A4 portrait report for the active material or the entire project. It captures a frozen project snapshot and lets you edit the report title, reference, prepared-by field, and assumptions for that report. Reports include units, app and calculation versions, conventions, disclaimer, inputs, failure ranges, enabled overlays, validation warnings, derived results, current calibration diagnostics, and both charts.

Active-material reports include the selected material and its overlays even when hidden from comparison. Whole-project reports include all materials in tables, chart only currently visible materials, and list hidden materials. Charts use each included material's envelope-range mode and the project's global axis mode rather than temporary navigation. A capture failure leaves the textual report intact and adds a visible chart-unavailable warning.
