Quick Start Workflow
A practical sequence for setting up a material, reviewing plots, calibrating data, and exporting outputs.
- Use Configure → Project Settings to enter project details or File → Open to load a project, then set Configure → Stress Units. Existing calibration cells are converted when the unit changes.
- Add, duplicate, select, or hide materials in the Materials panel. Materials stays visible above the inputs. Edit the active material Name and Color in Strength.
- Click Strength on the left rail, choose a failure criterion, and enter the relevant strength parameters.
- On the Failure Range left-rail button, choose the intended range application. Use Custom when the fit range should be controlled directly.
- Review the principal-stress and normal/shear charts. Zoom, pan, inspect interpolated crosshair values, or export CSV, SVG, and 2x PNG files from each chart.
- If test data are available, click Calibration in the top menu bar and paste data into its table, choose parameters to fit, and click Run Calibration. Review the preview curves and click Accept to apply the calibrated values.
- Use the Plot Settings left-rail button when you need explicit plot extents, tick spacing, or decimal control for axis labels.
- Read the Results sidebar on the right and the status bar for computed constants, strengths, modulus values, active range, and calibration messages. Use View → Results to hide it when more chart width is needed.
