Interpret factor of safety, geometry, force balance, runout, and diagnostic outputs.

Summary Outputs

Output	Meaning
State	Whether a valid wedge has formed.
Mode / Sliding Mode	Stable, Joint 1, Joint 2, Both joints, or Lifting.
FS / Reported FS	Primary reported factor of safety from the implemented force-balance comparison.
Volume	Computed wedge volume.
Runout R	Reported runout distance, using the governing lesser conical or pyramidal value when valid.
Backbreak	Horizontal setback/backbreak distance derived from the current geometry.

Factor of Safety Outputs

Output	Meaning
Unsupported FS	Factor of safety without passive support contribution.
Supported FS	Factor of safety including passive support and its effect on joint normal force.
Falling FS	Falling-mode factor from passive support resolved against the active-force direction.
Support Pressure For FS 1	Additional uniform pressure in kPa over the exposed excavation/support face required to raise wedges with FS below 1 to FS = 1. Reports 0 when the current FS is already at least 1.
Friction Reserve	Controlling joint friction angle minus sliding/intersection plunge. Positive reserve indicates more available friction than required by plunge.

Geometry and Force Outputs

Weight	Unit weight multiplied by computed volume, reported in kN.
Joint 1 Area / Joint 2 Area	Computed active joint face areas.
Upper Area / Slope Area	Computed upper and slope face areas.
Normal Force 1 / Normal Force 2	Normal force components on Joint 1 and Joint 2, reported in kN.
Driving Force	Magnitude of the active driving component, reported in kN.
Resisting Force	Magnitude of the resisting component, reported in kN.
Active Force	Magnitude of the combined active vector, reported in kN.
Passive Force	Magnitude of the resultant passive-support vector, reported in kN.
Rock Bolt Force	Magnitude of the effective resultant bolt vector after capacity and orientation efficiency, in kN.
Engaged Bolt Rows	Number of physical axial rows that geometrically cross the wedge.
Active Pressure / Passive Pressure	Magnitudes of active and passive face pressure contributions, reported in kN.
External Force	Magnitude of included external force, reported in kN.
Water Force	Magnitude of included joint water force, reported in kN.
Seismic Force	Magnitude of included seismic force, reported in kN.

Runout Outputs

Output	Meaning
Reported R	Selected runout distance reported by the app.
Conical R	Conical spill-berm runout estimate.
Pyramid R	Pyramidal spill-berm runout estimate.
Controlling Mode	Conical, Pyramid, or Pending.
Wedge Length L	Length term used in runout calculations when available.

Diagnostic Outputs

Output	Meaning
Daylighting	Whether the wedge intersection line satisfies the daylighting check.
Kinematic State	Plain-language description of the current wedge state.
Included Effects	Lists load effects included in the current force balance.
Plane Normals	Normal vector components for active planes.
Analysis Notes	Implementation-generated notes explaining special conditions, assumptions, and enabled effects.
